Michigan Lottery Club Wins Big On Powerball Drawing

Nobody won the massive Powerball drawing on Wednesday night, so that means the jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to be $1 Billion.

If you're planning on buying a ticket or two for yourself, you might want to consider starting a lottery club with some of your friends or coworkers.

Back in August, a Michigan Lottery group bought a winning ticket worth $1 Million dollars.

The winning ticket was bought by a lottery club in Grand Blanc

Nicholas Stockwell who is the club's representative shared with the Michigan Lottery what everyone said when he shared the good news with them:

Our club is a group of coworkers who play the Lottery together whenever there is a big jackpot, I bought several Powerball tickets for our club and checked them the night of the drawing by scanning them. When one came back as a $1 million winner, I sent out a text to the group with the news, but no one believed me at first. It was a pretty cool experience for everyone once it finally sunk in that it was real!

 

The club matched the five white balls – 31-59-62-65-68 – in the Aug. 20 drawing to win a $1 million prize.

There have been several big lottery wins in recent months in Michigan.
