In the game the goal is to rise through the ranks of a criminal empire by completing different missions and earning money and property along the way.

One type of mission you will find in the game is where the player has to steal a car.

A Michigan boy recently found himself arrested and locked up for trying to play a real life version.

Michigan 12-Year-Old Arrested For Allegedly Stealing And Selling Cars

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, The 12 year old boy stole 3 different vehicles from a business in Pontiac in one month.

He was even able to sell one of the stolen vehicles for $30.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard shared more about the incident in a press release saying:

"This young man is on a very bad path, attempting to live his own grand theft auto, Hopefully, intervention by the courts will send him on a better life path as well as stopping the constant theft from this business.”

I hope the Sherriff is right and that this young boy can get his life on track.

It's sad to see someone so young involved in such dangerous criminal activities.

It makes me wonder if he has any positive role models in his life to lead him down a different and better path.
