Earn Prizes By Participating In The Grand Rapids Public Library Reading Program
Summer break has arrived in West Michigan, and if you're like most parents in the area your home is probably already been filled with a chorus of 'I'm boooooooored' comments from your kiddos.
That's why the Grand Rapids Public Librabry is bringing back this program after record numbers in its first year as an all-ages program. The Grand Rapids Public Library (GRPL) is once again challenging you to dig into some summer reading.
Now through September 7th, readers of all ages are encouraged to pick up a reading passport from their closest GRPL branch to participate in one of the most fufilling challenges of the summer.

Sign up online or at your closest branch, and make sure you snag your own Summer Reading Passport, and start completing the challenges. When you get six finished, you'll get a mini prize. Complete 12, and you're walking away with bragging rights and their grand prize for the summer. Kiddos will get a book to add to their home library, while adults can snag a lunch cooler they can use year round.
Thankfully, you'll have through labor day weekend to read, explore and learn- so make sure you carve out some time amongst your summertime adventures to explore with your brain, too.
