Grand Rapids Fourth of July Fireworks Are Moving to a New Location in 2026
If you've made a tradition of coming to downtown Grand Rapids for the Fourth of July every year, you're going to have to slightly alter your plans in 2026.

While the downtown Grand Rapids Fourth of July fireworks are happening, both the launch location for the fireworks and the location for the community celebration have changed.

This year, as we honor America's 250th Anniversary, the fireworks in downtown Grand Rapids will be launched not from the Gillette Bridge, as in previous years, but from the Fulton Street Bridge.
As always, this year's fireworks celebration will be completely free and open to the public, but you won't want to head to the park for the festivities earlier in the evening. Instead, according to a release from the City of Grand Rapids, you'll want to make your way to the Amway Hotel Employee Parking Lot (51 Market Ave SW), located at the corner of Fulton Street and Market Avenue.
This area is where you will find the Meijer Family Fun Zone, food vendors, and exhibitor booths. Family activities will continue until 10:30 p.m., leading into what they are calling "the enhanced A250 fireworks display".
