Elon Musk Protest Planned In Grand Rapids On Saturday
When you're upset or don't agree with something, one way to show that is to protest and let your voice be heard.

People in Grand Rapids and the surrounding area who are upset with Elon Musk plan to participate in a nationwide protest happening on Saturday, February 15th.

Why Are People Protesting Elon Musk
The protest scheduled to happen in Grand Rapids is part of a larger one happening in Ann Arbor and across the country.
According to a post on Reddit, this is the logic behind the protest.
Elon Musk is powerful because he is rich. He is rich primarily due to his ownership of 20% of Tesla. Tesla has a small profit margin and with a modest decrease in sales would start to lose money. Everything we do to decrease demand for Tesla cars reduces Musk's power.
According to the protest event page, people are encouraged to take public transportation to the protest or park at Woodland Mall so that parking is not taken up for neighboring businesses.
Everyone is supposed to meet at the southwest corner of Woodland Mall and walk to the Tesla dealership on 29th Street. Once there, people will protest on the sidewalk in front of the south entrance on 29th Street.

I'm all about people protesting and expressing themselves, but I hope that anyone involved sticks to the sidewalk and doesn't actually step onto the lot and cause any kind of problems for customers or people working at the dealership.
