Bad Habit Shakes Saying Goodbye To Grand Haven Later This Month

I'm a huge fan of decadent desserts, especially if it involves some sort of ice cream. So, I was pretty excited when this over the top Milkshake shop opened in West Michigan just two years ago.

But by the end of the month, this Grand Haven dessert shop will be closing their doors for good.

I always had plans to visit, but this summer I didn't get over to Grand Haven as much as I would have liked, so I never made it in to try some of these crazy desserts.

They originally opened the dessert shop on Beacon Boulevard in 2022, but moved to a different location on Washington Avenue earlier this year.

They aren't giving an exact reason why they plan to close, but according to a facebook post the decision wasn't taken lightly:

We would like to thank our customers, friends, and family for supporting our vision from the moment we first created Bad Habit. We have loved bringing unique desserts to our community.

You still have a little bit of time to visit them and say goodbye (or if you're like me, finally try them out). They'll be closing up the shake shop for good on Sunday October 15th.

Also, they say if you have any gift cards, you'll have until closing day to use them, so make sure they don't sit in your wallet and go to waste.

It's a bummer to see something fun like this leaving West Michigan, and here's hoping the owners find another fun dessert idea to reopen in the area in the future, because Bad Habit Shakes will be sorely missed by beach goers of all ages.
