It May Be Hot Now But Cool Temps Around the Corner
The heat is here and the advisory doesn't expire until Saturday night at 8 p.m. but Sunday things will begin to cool and get even cooler Monday.
Excessive heat has been the only problem but ways to cool down have been the other. There has be a beach closing and a Beach Hazard Statement will go until 8 p.m. Friday night.
Winds on Lake Michigan have been ranging from 10 to 20 mph with 2 to 5 ft waves and serious rip currents which make conditions for swimmer highly dangerous.
Temperatures on Saturday will be in the low 90s but with humidity remaining high, its gonna feel like its over 100.
There's even a chance of showers and thunderstorms late on Saturday as the cold front moves into the region.
Sunday is when the cool down will really begin to take effect. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s which are much easier to deal with. The humidity will begin to slowly drop as well.
If you work outside, Monday will be a much better day for you with temperatures being in the upper 70s. After this weekend...that is going to feel pretty good.
