Ionia County Man Scores a Million From Mega Millions
Money, money, money, for a 73-year-old Ionia County man as he pulled down 1 million dollars from the Mega Millions Lottery.
According to MLive, Thomas Heckman of Pewamo has been trying to win the lottery for years and last week he collected a fat check from the Michigan Lottery H.Q. in Lansing.
Heckman said, "I usually buy a ticket every week. It was the talk around town that someone had won on the Mega Millions, which reminded me to check my ticket. When I realized I had matched five numbers to win $1 million. All I could think was I'm the big winner!"
“I usually buy a ticket every week,” Heckman said. “It was the talk around town that someone had won on the Mega Millions, which reminded me to check my ticket. When I did, I realized I had matched five numbers to win $1 million. All I could think was: ‘I’m the big winner!”
Heckman also said, "Winning this prize will allow me to live comfortably."
Heckman is not the only Michigander who has been winning some big bucks from the lottery. A few days after he claimed his million, a woman in Genesee County won $4 million, another woman in Wayne County won $4 million also.
Looks like some winning is going on and the only way to win, is play so please play responsibly and good luck.
