Popular British Influencers Josh and Jase Explore Grand Rapids
British influencers Josh and Jase are making their way through West Michigan, and judging by their reactions, the region is leaving a strong impression. With millions of followers watching their journey online, West Michigan is getting a lot of positive attention on a very big stage!

Aside from the vastness of Lake Michigan, and the tastiness of homemade ranch, another thing that seems to be blowing their minds? Midwest hospitality.

Their trip kicked off in my hometown of South Haven, where they stopped at one of my personal favorites, Clementine’s, to try the homemade ranch and the giant onion rings the restaurant is known for. From there, they headed to Saugatuck. While there, they checked out local hotspots, took in the scenery, and shared a humorous climb up Mt. Baldy, clearly impressed by both the views and the challenge.
Next up was Holland, which seemed to surprise the pair even more. They shared on social media:
This is mental!!! Tell us why we feel like we’re in the middle of Holland in Europe but we’re in the Michigan. Our british brains can’t comprehend this mate!!!

As of January 14, the British duo arrived in Grand Rapids. After a bit of confusion over the Calder sculpture (understandable, honestly), they headed to Lucy’s for breakfast—another local favorite.

One thing that continues to stand out everywhere they go? Just how friendly people are. In a video shared on his personal account, imjoshfromengland2, Josh strolls through downtown Grand Rapids, genuinely amazed at how kind and welcoming everyone is.
Like they have everywhere else they’ve visited, Josh and Jase are asking for recommendations. Where do you think they should go next while they’re in Grand Rapids? Oooh, looks like what's next on the agenda is their first ever college basketball game:
Can't wait to see where they pop up next!
It’s genuinely cool to see our towns explored through fresh eyes, especially by such appreciative visitors. Josh and Jase, thanks for sharing West Michigan with the world!
UPDATE JAN. 15, 2026:
Whoa, West Michigan, you showed up! Josh and Jase shared that hundreds of folks came out to say hello and grab a picture with the fellas at the Hope College basketball game.
They say, in part:
We turned up to Hope tonight for a college basketball game and we were swarmed and we made sure to stay right to the last person leaving to make sure everyone got their photo.
We wouldn’t be able to do all of this without your guys support. We’re sorry we couldn’t spend longer with each person, we just wanted to make sure everyone was looked after. We just wanna say thank you so much for the love.
So what else have the lads been up too? Josh and Jase have been busy! Following suggestions online, they did attempt to go to the legendary Yesterdog in Eastown...
Now unfortunately, Yesterdog is temporarily closed (more on that here) — but hey, I guess that just means they'll have to make a return trip to Grand Rapids at some point? Fingers crossed!
The lads aren't going hungry though. They did make a stop at another restaurant: Mexo downtown.
