ICE has been in the news lately. ICE is no longer a Southern border thing but now a Michigan thing too. A Michigan prison is becoming an ICE detention center.
What is ICE?
The ICE I'm referring to is not the stuff you put in your cooler or drink, it has to do with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

ICE is a federal law enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing immigration laws.
When you hear about ICE and detention centers, it's about Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Florida there are more illegal immigrants in concentrated numbers.

According to WOOD, a closed private prison near Baldwin will re-open as an ICE detention center for illegal immigrants. The 1,800-bed facility will require 300 employees to run.
