Holland Police took their duty to protect and serve a step further and served meals to those who are serving the community during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Holland Police Officers Association recently stepped up and made and delivered 150 meals to essential West Michigan businesses.

The Holland Department of Public Safety shared about the kind deed on Facebook saying the HPOA smoked meat and hand-delivered the food to around 50 different businesses and organizations deemed essential during the COVID-19 shutdown.

They were able to do so with the support of their annual HPOA Country Concert Fundraiser and Earl's Meats.
