The $50,000 fine and the driver threat are two separate incidents. According to MLive, the fine stemmed from some comments Hocevar made about Mexico City before ever visiting. Hocevar made several critical comments, but his use of profanity about Mexico City led to a $50,000 fine from his NASCAR team.

Hocevar didn't have a great race at the Viva Mexico 250 by placing 34th. To make matters worse, during the race, he spun out driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., which can happen, but it was the second time in three weeks. Stenhouse said, "I'm going to beat your ass when we get back in the states.

Hocevar did apologize for making the comments about Mexico City and spinning out Stenhouse before being fined, but may want to keep an eye out for Stenhouse during this Sunday's race at Pocono Raceway.

NASCAR racing at Pocono Raceway just a step away from the Garden State
