Hello Kitty Café Truck Returning to Grand Rapids This October
I grew up in the ’90s loving Hello Kitty—the lunchbox, stuffed animals, keychains, maybe even a wallet or two. Now, my nieces are just as into Hello Kitty as I was, and I love it! If you share that nostalgia—or your kids are just discovering Hello Kitty—there’s a fun reason to head out to Woodland Mall this month!

Hello Kitty Café Truck Coming to Grand Rapids
The Hello Kitty Café Truck, a traveling version of the popular cafés, is making a stop in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 18, 2025. You’ll find the pink, kitty-themed truck near The Cheesecake Factory and the theater from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while supplies last.
What Treats and Merchandise to Expect
This is your chance to grab exclusive Hello Kitty treats and merchandise! This year is extra special—Hello Kitty is celebrating her 50th anniversary, and the Café Truck marks its 10th year on the road, so you can expect limited-edition anniversary merch.

Another Michigan Stop
The Hello Kitty Café Truck has been traveling across the U.S. since 2014, bringing a bit of Sanrio magic to fans nationwide. While there are a few permanent Hello Kitty Cafés out west, the traveling version is the only way to experience it here in Michigan. At this point, looks like there's one other stop in the Mitten State at Twelve Oaks Mall in Nov. on Oct. 25.
