Jim Harbaugh has agreed to terms to coach the Wolverines for five more years, which is five years too many for some fans.

Before Christmas, Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh did what he always did.

Responded to rumors that his job was in jeopardy and that he was looking into NFL jobs by reiterating that he was committed to remaining with the program through and beyond 2021.

And this Friday he did what he also always does this time of year—and confirmed he was returning to the program when it was reported that Harbaugh agreed to a five-year, $20 million contract extension that includes incentives that could increase its annual worth to $8 million.

Makes sense given that Harbaugh holds a record of 49-22 across his six seasons at Michigan and it is only his inability to defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes that always seems to lead to reports of him leaving.

So yeah, this will make most Michigan fans happy—and just about every Buckeyes fan ecstatic.

Reaction from UM fans is, as always, sharply divided on the topic of Harbaugh.

Wait. Maybe UM fans NOT divided on this subject. Either that or the entire internet is hate.
