Say Cheese! Grand Rapids’ Grilled Cheese Fest is Returning This Fall
Is there anything better than a toasty, ooey gooey grilled cheese?
I loved them when I was a kid and I still do, so I'm pumped the Grilled Cheese Fest is returning to Grand Rapids!
The Cheese Lady Hosting Grilled Cheese Fest in Grand Rapids
The Cheese Lady, a specialty cheese and wine shop, is celebrating ten years in Grand Rapids.
After a two year absence, The Cheese Lady is bringing back their Grilled Cheese Fest! The festival will be at Fuller Park, at 250 Fuller Ave. NE, on Sunday, October 9, noon to 4p.m.
The family friendly event is free to attend.
The festival includes a kids activity tent, adult beverage tent, cheese samples, a market, and live music from The Ellers, Valentiger, and So Many Humans. You'll be able to purchase homemade grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.

Want to compete in the grilled cheese contest?
Stop by The Cheese Lady Grand Rapids at 315 Fuller NE and pick up an application or download one here. It costs $40 to enter and each contestant will receive up to one pound of cheese from The Cheese Lady for their grilled cheese. Applications must be dropped off at shop by Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
The winner of the "Judges Choice" will get $100 in cheese and $100 in cash. The winner of the "Peoples Choice" will get $75 in cheese and $75 in cash.
The first 60 people in attendance at the Grilled Cheese Festival can sign up to be "Peoples Choice" judges who will get to sample the grilled cheese sandwiches!
