New Authentic Greek Street Food Restaurant Now Open in West Michigan

I'm hoping to make a few more trips to the lakeshore before summer ends - and there is a new authentic Greek restaurant to try!

Greekshore Opens in Muskegon, Mich.

Earlier this summer, Greekshore opened at 1845 Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon.

Owners say their goal is to transport guests to Greece with their authentic Greek food.

So far, reviews have been great! The new restaurant has 4.5 stars on Facebook.

Was excited to try this seeing as I live in the neighborhood. The place was packed and many more walked in while I waited for my order. It was definitely worth the wait! I wanted to try a few different things so I decided on the American gyro, spinach pie, baklava and baklava cheesecake. It was all just wonderful with plenty left to eat again tomorrow. I will absolutely become a regular!

Greekshore is open Monday through Thursday 11a.m. to 9p.m., Friday, 11a.m. to 10p.m., Saturday 12p.m. to 10p.m., and Sunday 3p.m. to 9p.m.

You'll find a variety of salads at Greekshore, including, Traditional Greek Salad and Crispy Chicken Salad.

Gyros include chicken, beef and lamb, shaved marinated pork, falafel, and sausage. Souvlaki - meat on a skewer- options include pork or chicken.

For sides, try the Spinach Pie, Greek Fries, Spinach Puffs, Cheese Pie, Loukaniko (Greek sausage), or Dolmathes (rice, ground beef, and herbs wrapped in grape leaves.)

Dessert choices include Baklava, Baklava Cheesecake, Rice Pudding, and Bougatsa (Greek custard pie).
