Michigan offers a wide range of biking trails for all conditions and skill levels, from paved state rail-trails to rugged mountain bike singletrack and scenic fat-tire routes for winter riding.

When riding these types of trails, having the right equipment is essential for both safety and maximizing enjoyment. I learned this firsthand while riding the Dragon Trails around Hardy Pond, once my son and I upgraded our bikes and protective gear suited for the terrain, our experience improved dramatically, and it has since become one of our favorite activities to do together.
