Where To Find St. Patrick’s Day Green Beer and Guinness Around Grand Rapids
St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of Irish culture, with people wearing green, shamrocks abounding, and people eating Irish food like corned beef and soda bread, and drinking beer, namely Guinness. Emphasis on the beer, as this is a holiday that people use as an excuse to consume a ridiculous amount of alcohol.

Ironically, America's version of St. Patty's Day is a pretty big departure from how Ireland historically celebrated the day as a day of prayer, where all bars were closed. But now the US version has immigrated back to Ireland, and it's a big party.
If you want to get in the fun of the day, living in Beer City is a pretty great choice because there is no shortage of places to go. Between Irish pubs and bars around the city, getting in on the fun, here's where to go to get some green beer, a pint of Guinness, or eat an Irish delicacy.
