Grand Rapids Priest Allegedly Gives Nazi Salute
You would think a priest would know better than to use a Nazi salute allegedly. A Grand Rapids priest who thought it was a joke has now been removed from his job.
The Nazi Salute
The Nazi salute is when you extend your right arm from your shoulder into the air. The salute is a sign of obedience to German leader Adolf Hitler who directed the torture and murder of six million Jews during World War II. There's six million reasons right there to never do the salute.

The Holocaust is one of the worst tradgedies in world history. It's sad and disgusting that anyone would use the salute but ufortunately there are those who still do.

Grand Rapids Priest Allegedly Gives Nazi Salute
I am not here to get political or religious but there are times when using symbolism is inapporopriate. A Grand Rapids priest was in Washington, D.C., a few days ago and thought it was funny to make what appeared to be a Nazi salute during a speech he was making at a National Pro-Life Summit.
According to WOOD, the priest was Calvin Robinson who was removed from the Anglican Catholoci Church and his licensed revoked. The video shows Robinson laughing when he used the alleged Nazi salute. Robinson made a statement on Facebook where here characterized this as a joke and was to mock "liberals" who called Elon Musk a Nazi for showing the audience his heart was with them. Robinson said, "For the record, in case it needs saying: I am not a Nazi."

I am not going to use a photo of Robinson or show him doing the salute but if you want to see him in action click here. Let's find out what people in Grand Rapids are saying about the issue.
When I watched the video I was surprised at Robinson's smirk also.
I was also disturbed that people in the audience laughed when Robinson made the gesture. What's funny about the Holocaust?
The post above refers to the action that was taken by Robinson's church. Here is a link to the churches statement.
This poster makes a good point. Isn't there another way to show you are speaking from the heart?
I could keep posting coments from the Grand Rapids Reddit page but there are too many f-bombs. I couldn't find anyone on this thread that supported what Robinson allegedly did. If you would like to see what people are saying about the priest and the church that removed him click here but I don't recommend this for kids.
