Local Grand Rapids Shops Selling Unique Michigan-Made Goods
Summer in Michigan means backyard parties, beach days, and lots of celebrations—think weddings, graduation parties, and milestone birthdays. Whether you’re shopping for the perfect host gift, something personal for a loved one, or just treating yourself, locally made gifts are a great way to go!
Thankfully, Michigan makes it easy. The shape of our state alone inspires creativity—there are cutting boards shaped like the Mitten, jewelry with Petoskey stones, candles that smell like Lake Michigan sunsets, and hats stitched with the outline of our great state.

And supporting these makers means you're also supporting the small shops in Grand Rapids that help our neighborhoods thrive!

Another favorite is Rebel on Wealthy Street. If you like your gifts with a little sass (or need a greeting card that will actually make someone laugh), this is your place. One item in particular that sticks in my mind is a foul-mouthed bumper sticker that sums up many locals' feelings on 28th Street...
