I've always felt a little spoiled that two of my favorite places to visit have shared a parking lot. I can enter one store, peruse for a bit, and then swing by Fat Boy Burgers and get myself a Fat Boy Burger (no olives). With its neon sign and classic building, everything about the place feels like a blast from the past and I appreciate the vibe.

However, the business has struggled to stay afloat since the COVID-19 pandemic. While the business announced in September that it would be closing down, it has remained open. Now, Fat Boy Burger has taken to Facebook to share that the building will have new owners by mid-February, marking the end of this restaurant's historic run.

No information has been shared about what will be moving into the building. The burger joint will continue to run for limited hours until the business is sold, so now is your last chance to enjoy a Sloppy Boy Burger or Chimney Stack before it's too late.
