Want to be first in line at Best Buy on Alpine in Grand Rapids for Black Friday?

Too late.  The line started SATURDAY!

Let's meet the first people in line.

Time is money.  That's never more true than Black Friday.  The more time you spend in line, the more likely you are to save more money.

WZZM has more on the first people waiting in line:

Lynda Straight and her daughter set up their tent outside the Best Buy on Alpine Avenue NW at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. They've been planning the stakeout for weeks. Straight says she wanted to camp out extra early this year after narrowly missing out on a Black Friday deal last year.

The Straight family plans to buy a $180 TV that normally sells for $500.

A Best Buy manager believes they may have set a state record for earliest Black Friday shoppers to line up outside a Best Buy store.

Crazy or smart/determined?  It's a fine line.

Check out the video below for more about the Straight family.
