Grand Rapids Bar Hosting Beard Contest to Benefit Humane Society
Got a badass beard? A local bar is hosting a beard competition with proceeds going to help animals at the Humane Society of West Michigan.
Mulligan's Pub has teamed up with Two Brothers Beard Company on Mulligan's First Even Beard Competition to raise money for out four legged friends at the Humane Society.
If you're like, "Dang, no beard, but I have a sweet mustache, can I compete too?"
Yes!
There are four different divisions:
- Mustache
- Beards 0-6 inches
- Beards 6-12 inches
- Beards 12 inches and up
It's $10 to enter and $1 per vote, and people are allowed to vote unlimited times.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division will win prizes!
According to Mulligan's Pub, prizes include gift cards to area businesses like 2 Beards Deli, Great Lakes Glow Golf, Mos Eisley, Schuil Coffee, and of course, Mulligan's.
The Beard Competition starts May 2nd and runs until the evening of May 7th.
Entrants can come in to Mulligan's Pub at 1518 Wealthy St. SE anytime before 8p.m. to get their picture taken, printed, and tacked up on their picture wall.
