The Grand Haven South Pier is about to have lighting again after 3 years, when the lights and catwalk were removed from the pier for the reconstruction project, according to WZZM.

WZZM says there will be a lighting ceremony Monday night starting at 7:30 pm at the entrance to the pier and it's free to attend.  There will be some entertainment leading up to the lighting ceremony as well.

The Grand Haven High School Band is performing along with The Hooligans who are a group of pilots that fly along the channel putting on an air show, and then they'll end the night with the catwalk lighting and fireworks, WZZM reports.

WZZM says parking will be in the Grand Haven State Park and there will also be shuttle service with Grand Haven's Harbor Transit.
