After missing the last two summers due to Covid, Jenison's Rosewood Park will again provide plenty of downhill sliding Saturday.

The Giant Slip-N-Slide Will Provide 100 Feet Of Fun

The Saturday Slip-n-Slide returns after a two year absence on August 13. The event will grace the hills at Rosewood Park from noon until 5pm. The event is a fund raising event for the Never The Same Youth Ministry. Tickets are just one dollar, and a FastPass ticket is also available for ten bucks.

The Ministry will also be selling tickets for a raffle drawing until 3pm on Saturday, offering a variety of prizes including a Grand Prize, a 5 night, all inclusive vacation for 2 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic. That trip features 5 Star Accommodations, 9 Restaurants, Water Sports, and entertainment at the resort.

Four Giant Slides Will Provide Thrills and Spills

As in past years, four 40 foot by 150 foot tarps will descend the hills of the Soccer Bowl at Rosewood Park, providing fun for kids and adults alike.

For smaller kids, there will also be a Toddler Waterpark, Bounce Houses and Dunk Tanks at the event.

First aid volunteers and EMTs will be at the event along with dozens of volunteers.

The event began back in 2012, so this year is the tenth anniversary of the fund raiser, if you don't count the last two years.
