Free Beer & Hot Wings: Tupelo, Mississippi, TV Station Evacuates Studio During Broadcast Because of Tornado [Video]

Things have been pretty crazy over the last few days with weather in the South.

Tornadoes have been wreaking havoc across the U.S.

In this video, watch as the weatherman at WTVA-TV in Tupelo, Miss., reports on a tornado that is, basically, right on top of the station.

The crew hangs in there until the last possible moment, then evacuates the studio while still live on the air. The tornado eventually knocked the station off the air.

You might recognize this weatherman. He is the same guy that proposed to his girlfriend, a news anchor at a sister station, on the air.
