This came up on "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" this week: Producer Joe's ribbon-cutting fun four years ago.

So, we wanted to shared it again for those who maybe had never seen it before.

There were 1.75 miles of I-196 road construction in downtown Grand Rapids. The $40 million Michigan Department of Transportation project -- known as the Fix on I-196 -- closed down I-196 from the Grand River bridge east to Fuller Avenue from April 2010 to November 2010.

The project finally wrapped up just before Thanksgiving week 2010 and dignitaries and citizens were gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the new bridge and road. Our very own Producer Joe was one of those in attendance!
