Just imagine: You've seen the 4H prize hogs, you won a giant stuffed animal at the ring toss, you're chomping on an elephant ear and you decide to stop by the entertainment tent to see what the county fair has going on tonight...

And out come the Foo Fighters?!

This totally happened at a small county fair in California called the Conejo Valley Days carnival May 9!

According to Consequence of Sound, the Foo Fighters, between legs of their Sonic Highways Tour, played the surprise concert under the name "Chevy Metal", which is actually the name of drummer Taylor Hawkins' cover band.

Foo Fighters rocked and 18-song set, all of which were covers from bands such as AC/DC, The Knack, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen and Alice Cooper.

Check out videos from the Foo Fighters/ Chevy Metal performance and the full set list below.
