Finally, the Kevin Bacon and Eggs Commercial We’ve All Been Waiting For [Video]

A housewife is at the stove, whipping up some eggs, just thinking out loud: "There is no better start to the day that eggs for breakfast... Except maybe eggs with a side of--"

Bacon. Cue Kevin Bacon. And there he is, right there lounging on her kitchen table in the American Egg Board's web film promoting their new print and television ad campaign.

The actor goes on to explain the health benefits of eggs and manages to get in some heavy flirting as well. Of course the ad is ripe with puns and makes a "six degrees" reference.

According to Adweek, about being the American Egg Board's new celebrity spokesperson, Bacon said in a statement,

"With a last name like Bacon, I'm the obvious choice, and I'm excited to be a part of the new Incredible Edible Egg campaign. I like the creativity behind the idea, and I've always been a big fan of eggs. They're a nutritional powerhouse and I never get tired of them because there are so many ways you can eat them."
