It's no secret that the Detroit Lions have been center stage this year because the teams training camp is the set where the HBO series Hard Knocks has been filming this season.

The Lion's head coach Dan Campbell is been the center of attention throughout the HBO series. Players like Aaron Glenn, Aubrey Pleasant, and Trinity Benson have all stood out. There was one guy who stood out on a recent episode of the show that is not on the team but offered to suit up.

Legendary rapper Eminem stopped by the Detroit Lions camp to bring some words of encouragement.

As Eminem was watching the team practice he said, "I'm here for whatever position, I'm here. Any of 'em, all of 'em.

Eminem also had some words of encouragement by saying, "We got a good team this year man."

There was definitely some mutual respect between Eminem and Lions players for what each does in their own arenas.

Lions Players Invite Eminem To Their Games

A couple of Detroit Lions invited Eminem to come out to all the games this year. Eminem said, "I said I'll lace up whenever. Like I'll go to every game. I'll stand on the sideline, and if you guys need to put me in, put me in." Well, that is not likely to happen but it was great to see the rapper and the players having some fun together.

Hopefully, this somehow helps the Lions, but television show or not, the only real thing that matters is what happens when the team is in a real game on the field.

The Lions will host the Philidelphia Eagles at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday, September 11 at 1 p.m.
