Gas prices are up right as summer, an already expensive time of year, is right around the corner. Now more than ever, you're looking to spread your money as far as it can go, and one of those purchases is eating out. Sure, it might be cheaper to just eat at home, but sometimes you're in a hurry, don't feel like cooking, or want to see a friend.

Eat Grand Rapids, The Cheap Dining Map

This map, available at eat.grandrapids.co, provides a real-time view of deals and lists them. Currently, it features many of the recurring Happy Hour offerings from local restaurants and the deals at national chains. It highlights each deal currently available with a bold "LIVE NOW" option.

But the success of this map relies on you, fellow Grand Rapids resident. Matt is the only person freely running this map. To keep this map up to date and include deals that some people may not know about, anyone can submit deals for inclusionwith the hope that it can eventually become a thriving ecosystem to help both businesses and consumers.
