East Kentwood and Zeeland West Win Boys Track & Field State Championships

The Michigan High School Boys and Girls Track & Field State Championships were decided over the weekend.

East Kentwood and Zeeland West Boys Track & Field teams each brought home championships!

East Kentwood continued their dominance by winning their fifth Boys Track & Field team championship in the last six years.

• East Kentwood won Division 1 with 71 points. Second place Oak Park had 50.
• East Kentwood Girls Track & Field finished third at the state finals.
• Zeeland West Boys Track & Field won Division 3 with a total of 50 points. Auburn Hills Avondale was second with 40. Byron Center was third with 38.

Girls Tennis State Finals were also decided over the weekend.

Strong finishes at the Girls Tennis Finals include:

• Forest Hills Northern - Second Place - Division 2
• Grand Rapids Christian - Third Place - Division 3
