With indoor dining temporarily paused to slow the spread of COVID-19, a restaurant close to downtown Grand Rapids is offering heated outdoor dining in its greenhouse starting this week.

Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that One Bourbon at 608 Bridge St. has divided its greenhouse into two individual sections and can fit up to six people on each side.

The greenhouse will be open by reservation only Thursday through Saturday, starting January 7.

One Bourbon shared on Facebook that each side of the heated greenhouse has a  private entrance and it will be “thoroughly cleaned and ventilated between each reservation." There is a $50 minimum per person requirement for each reservation and an hour and a half time slot for each party.

Anyone who wants to partake in the outdoor dining experience can make a reservation by emailing info@onebourbongr.com or calling (616) 608-5766.

According to GRBJ, a limited menu is available for greenhouse dining:

  • Hot Cheese appetizer $12
  • 13 oz Cajun Rubbed Ribeye with roasted redskin potatoes and green beans $27
  • Bourbon Burger with Muenster, bacon jam, and caramelized onion, served with fries and spinach salad $25
  • Peanut Butter Pie $6

One Bourbon is also offering cocktails to-go and Old Fashioned kits.
