Disturbed had been away for a long time when they dropped their latest album out of nowhere on us. Everyone's been so stoked for their return, that when they announced a show in Grand Rapids, it sold out in like 45 minutes! The Orbit Room was packed to the rafters on Friday night for Disturbed's return to GR.

After the openers Nonpoint got everyone going, there was a short changeover, and Disturbed hit the stage with "Ten Thousand Fists" and "The Game", getting everyone roaring along, and moshing all night. The band kept the energy pretty high until about the middle of the set, when they chilled out a bit for "Darkness" and their latest single "The Sound of Silence", which had everyone singing along. Watch that video below.

They even did a cool covers medley, that included NIN's "Closer", U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", The Who's "Baba O'Reilly", and Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name Of", with guest vocalist Elias from Nonpoint.

No one tried to escape before the end of the show, and sang along with the closer, "Down With the Sickness", and David Draiman promised they'd be back soon, which is true, since they return on May 24th with Rob Zombie and Pop Evil at the Van Andel!

If you don't have tickets to the show in May, pick them up now, as Disturbed is still a fantastic live band, and you don't want to miss that show!
