On June 8th a pop-up vaccine clinic will open up across from Comerica Park at the Fox Theatre. The clinic is part of Major League Baseball's 'Vaccinate at the Plate' program and will continue through the ensuing weekend series against the Chicago White Sox.

The clinic is set to open up three hours prior to the first pitch and run for about an hour, or three innings, into game-time. Both Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available for fans.

Those who are vaccinated on-site will receive a voucher for tickets for that day's game, or an upcoming 2021 regular season game. Patrons who vaccinate at the Fox Theatre clinic will also get a $10 Meijer coupon. Free parking for the clinic will also be available at the Fox Theatre garage.

The Tigers are encouraging fans to schedule their appointments if possible, but walk-ins will also be accepted:

The pop-up clinic will open three hours before first pitch, and operate through the third inning, or one hour after the game begins. Interested fans are encouraged to schedule online in advance or by calling the McLaren COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at (810) 344-4050 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Walks-ups will also be welcomed, but scheduling in advance is highly encouraged to ensure availability.
Vaccines are free, and insurance is not required. Individuals 18 and older are eligible to receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Individuals 12 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine as a first or second dose, and can schedule their second dose at a Meijer location near them. Children under the age of 18 receiving the Pfizer vaccine must have consent from a parent or guardian.
