Who doesn't love a good throwback? A video surfaced earlier this month of Deftones performing "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)" live for the first time in 1997 prior to the release of their second album, Around the Fur. Now, a new video has been posted from the same show of the band playing "My Own Summer (Shove It)," from the same album, for the first time as well.

The videos have been provided by the YouTube channel DeftonesLive, recorded by attendee Walker Edmondson. The show took place on Sept. 11, 1997 in Sacramento, Calif., which is Deftones' hometown. Watch the band's very first live rendition of the Around the Fur classics below, and you may or may not see frontman Chino Moreno crowd surf during "My Own Summer" as well.

Around the Fur was released about a month and a half later in October of 1997. The album has since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Deftones are currently working on their ninth album, which Moreno compared to being as experimental as 2000's White Pony.
