Dead Poet Society gave generated quite a bit of buzz in 2019. As they prepare to begin their tour as a special guest of Badflower, the group has released a music video for the genre-defying song ".swvrm." which can be viewed below.

The title is wholly befitting of the track with buzz-toned, rapid guitar slides that sound like you're being chased by a hive of bees. The bouncing lick is instantly catchy and drives the energy of ".swvrm." which seesaws between a thick, paranoid atmosphere and explosive chorus.

Read the lyrics before hitting play on the video.

I’ve been so fuckin lazy
Lay around feelin sick as of lately
Throwin up in my bed cause I hate me
But but the swvrm is whatever it makes me
It makes me
The swvrm is whatever it makes me

It’s not myself that I love
I never gave a fuck
My thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me
It’s not myself that I love
I never gave a fuck
my thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me up

I've been tryna hold onto
A bit of sanity cause I need to
But the pain in my chest is alive in my head and the two seem to love one another
Another
The two seem to love one another

It’s not myself that i love
I never gave a fuck
My thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me up
It’s not myself that i love
I never gave a fuck
My thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me up

My thoughts a trigger finger

It’s not myself that i love
I never gave a fuck
My thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me up
It’s not myself that i love
I never gave a fuck
My thoughts a trigger finger lighting me lighting me up
