Just days after the one-year anniversary of Chester Bennington’s death, the singer’s sister Tobi Knehr checked herself into the hospital for mental health reasons. Now out of the hospital and “in a much better place,” Knehr posted on Twitter and thanked her support system of Linkin Park fans.

On July 23, Tobi tweeted her thanks to the Linkin Park online family for their many tributes on July 20:

The next day, Knehr informed her followers she’d be going “radio silent” for about a week, asking for prayers during her Twitter absence:

On Aug. 5, Knehr finally emerged from her silence and offered a heartfelt thanks to the online support system. She finally unveiled the details concerning her absence in a second tweet that same day:

We’d like to commend Tobi Knehr for her strength to seek help during a dark time and her efforts to nourish a positive mental health community. We’d also like to wish her continued health and mental well-being outside of the hospital.
