When Acrisure Amphitheater opened in Grand Rapids, many residents thought parking would become a nightmare whenever multiple events took place at the same time. I was there last weekend while multiple events were happening at venues across the city, and getting in and out of town after the show wasn’t bad.

I had an advantage with a work parking pass, but I still chose to park a few blocks away and walk to save money.

The amphitheater offers comfortable seating with wide aisles that make getting in and out easier. Fans who prefer a more relaxed setup can also enjoy the hillside seating area, where they can bring a blanket, lawn chair, or low-profile beach chair for a comfortable concert experience.

The venue also makes the concert experience more convenient with clean bathrooms and plenty of food and drink stations on both sides of the pavilion and along the top of the hill. The one thing the venue is missing is a dedicated parking lot or parking ramp.
