Chad Grey Says ‘Mudvayne is Not Over Yet’

I was pretty excited to hear this news today! Chad Grey, known for his vocal talents in HELLYEAH and Mudvayne recently was interviewed and gave up some news that Mudvayne fans have been wanting for some time!

Recently, Mudvayne guitarist and now former HELLYEAH guitarist Greg Tribbett left the group. Fans wondered if Chad and Gregg were fighting and feared for the future of Mudvayne. In an interview, Chad has this to say:

"Yeah, man. He has always been my right-hand man. He's been the back I look at when I'm writing songs and the sounding board for my ideas. When everything went sideways, it was like losing a great friend. I was filled with fear and I had mixed emotions. At first, I was like, Goddamn, I don't know if I'm ever gonna be able to do this without him."

Chad also went on to say this as he was asked if Mudvayne was finished:

"I don't think so. We all still talk. I'm not ready to put a headstone on anything yet."

Unfortunately, that still doesn't make me feel very reassured about the future of Mudvayne. Hopefully something will come of them in the years to come!
