Display Pack in Cedar Springs has shifted to making Personal Protection Equipment for our healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Fox 17 reports that the company usually makes food packaging, but recently started making face shields.

Display Pack made the switch on Thursday; by next week they hope to make up to 30,000 face shields a day.

Ken Schauss, Director of Sales and Marketing at Display Pack told Fox 17,

We're actually busier than normal, right now, with everything going on, the shelves are getting cleared. We're very busy but we saw this as an opportunity, my wife works in healthcare, we have a lot of folks whose spouses work in healthcare, so we knew there was a need out there and we knew we were in a position to help.

They are currently working with a distribution company to get the face shields to those on the front lines who need them.
