In one of the more intense and disturbing videos of the year, viewers were taken on the emotional journey of the search for a missing child soundtracked by Breaking Benjamin's "Red Cold River." With their latest video, "Torn in Two," that story continues with the perpetrator getting his comeuppance.

In the clip, we see various visions of the little girl in happier times before the flannel-clad demon literally turns into one and is transported into his own ember-hued pit of hell. In this new environment, it is the demon who is now the alone and vulnerable one subjected to attacks on his own visage.

"I have always had a soft spot for children, especially being a father myself," says Breaking Benjamin vocalist Ben Burnley. "We do a lot of work with St. Jude Children’s Hospital and love helping there where we can. Since April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we wanted to do something to bring awareness to that as well as encourage others to do their part in helping the innocent voices of the future. We’re pleased to be donating .25 cents of each ticket on our summer tour to the country’s biggest foundation for child abuse awareness, Prevent Child Abuse America so they may continue their journey to put an end to it." As for "Torn in Two," it's very representative of the darker, heavier tone that the band is portraying on their Ember disc. It's accentuated with the perfect balance of soul-baring, primal aggression and hypnotically melodic moments. Take a listen and watch the video above.

The "Torn in Two" video arrives just as the band releases their Ember album. Check out our review of the disc here and if you are interested in picking up the album you can do so via the platform of your choosing here.

Breaking Benjamin, in celebration of the album release, will be taking part in an in-store signing this Saturday (April 14) from 4-6PM at the Gallery of Sound in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where they got their start as a band. The group is spending the spring playing festivals and sharing stages with 10 Years, and will hit the road with Five Finger Death Punch this summer. All shows can be found here.
