Bissell’s Empty the Shelters Returns to Michigan This October
Ready to welcome a new furry family member into your home? This fall is a great time!

From October 1 through 15, Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event is back, helping pets across the country find their forever families. For two weeks, more than 300 shelters in 38 states will offer reduced adoption fees of $70 or less.

What makes this event special is that everyone benefits! Adopters win because they get to bring home a spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped pet for a fraction of the usual cost. Shelters win because the event draws more people through their doors, helping them find homes for animals who have been waiting far too long. And most importantly, the pets win by finally landing with a family to call their own.
