A fish in the Grand River got an unexpected tour of Grand Rapids when a bird unexpectedly gave it on an aerial tour of the city.

Labor Day weekend gave anglers a lot of opportunities to fish one last time before summer turns to fall. Humans were not the only anglers taking advantage of the great fishing in Michigan over the weekend.

It is always amazing to see Mother Nature in action. Over the weekend, my sons and I went kayaking down the Muskegon River and witnessed a hawk swoop down and pick up a nice rainbow trout for a nice meal.

We were in awe of watching the hawk in real time dive down and snatch the trout, but we didn’t capture a photo or video because we were living in the moment.

There are many eagle videos online of eagles snatching up fish, since they are considered a more majestic predator and a symbol of freedom in America.

Ospreys are found in Michigan and have become a thriving part of the ecosystem. A young lady posted the video of one doing a little fishing over Labor Day weekend in the Grand River.

The osprey not only snatched a fish but gave the bird an aerial tour of downtown Grand Rapids. Several comments were left on the woman's TikTok page about the fish getting a tour of the downtown and you can fish through those comments here.
