There's a good chance Beck came to the 57th Annual Grammy Awards thinking he would have a good time, see some friends, enjoy some music, and go home without any statuettes. This isn't a slam against Beck -- we just know how things have gone in the past for deserving artists.

As it stands, Beck will be leaving the Staples Center with three Grammys, all for his 12th full-length record, 'Morning Phase.' First, he received the honor for Best Engineered Record, Non-Classical. Then, he walked up onstage to receive the Grammy for Best Rock Album. And now, after being introduced by Prince, Beck picked up the Album of the Year.

Competing with Beyonce’s self-titled album, Ed Sheeran’s ‘X,’ Sam Smith’s ‘In the Lonely Hour’ and Pharell Williams’ ‘G I R L,’ we couldn't be prouder of Beck and everyone who contributed to 'Morning Phase.'

As Prince said in his introduction, "Albums still matter" -- and no album in this category is more representative of that sentiment than 'Morning Phase.'
