Sometimes it feels like we can't do a lot to change the world. We're one person, we can only do much, and changing our habits can be a little difficult at times. But, what if I told you having a cup of coffee at least once a week, could change the lives of others here in West Michigan.

And, what if I told you that cup of coffee was not only affordable, but DELICIOUS? Seems like an easy sell, right?

Brody's Be Café is exactly that- they are a coffee shop located in Downtown Ada that provides jobs and raises money to help some of the most unique and wonderful members of our community.

According to their mission, "Brody's Be Café employs special needs adults to give an opportunity to those who struggle to find it. When you buy a latte, americano, or cappuccino from Brody's Be Café you become part of our movement to be inclusive to all who live in the community."

And it's hard not to smile when you walk into their doors on Thornapple Drive. It's a calm space, and you're greeted with someone from their team who is eager to make you a unique and wonderful drink. I had their specialty drink the Cloud Cold Brew, which is a cold brew coffee with a marshmallow flavored cold foam that will leave you floating on cloud nine.

They offer online ordering, and they also help raise money for other charities on sight like the Red Glasses project. The service was quick, they have great indoor and outdoor seating options, and you can have a cup knowing you're doing some good at the same time.

They also call their baristas "Beristas", and they sell a shirt that explains why:

Check them out in person, or you can donate online if you just love their cause but can't make it out today. And a shout out to Brody's Be Café for being the change we love to see in West Michigan.
