Barrio's website claims its mission is to "push creative boundaries using fresh, innovative recipes in everything we do."
At the restaurants, you can craft your own custom tacos choosing from a variety of sauces, toppings, cheese, and proteins like chorizo, pulled pork, spiced rubbed chicken, jalapeno lime chicken, braised short rib, tofu, and more. The menu also includes chips and queso, salsa, and guacamole, tacos, and bowls.
While the location in Kalamazoo is no longer, an announcement on the company's website reads:
NOW CLOSED.
