As we recently reported, Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler played in Friday night’s (Feb. 13) Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The competition was held at Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan, and featured other celebs like Common, Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon and more.

We'll cut to the chase: Butler played on the West team and won! And not only did his team win, but he contributed significantly, scoring eight points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the 58-51 point win.

How good is Butler on the court? Check out this video from Arcade Fire Tube’s Twitter account:

We’re impressed, and we also dig his solid red sneakers. You might recognize them as he’s worn them before to perform live (as Arcade Fire Tube points out in another tweet):

And as that tweet unveils, those shoes, Butler's Red Octobers, are designed by Kanye West.

As for the future of his basketball career, Butler will hang up his jersey tomorrow for Valentine’s Day as he plans to serve some coffee (his own blend) at La Colombe Coffee in New York City. Grab a cup of joe and congratulate the rocker on his victory!
