Anberlin to Appear at West Michigan Whitecaps Game This Sunday

Anberlin have played a countless number of shows throughout their decade-long career. This time the Florida alt-rockers are trying something different as they're set to appear at this Sunday's (April 21) West Michigan Whitecaps game.

The Whitecaps are celebrating their 20th season in Minor League Baseball and want to make this year a little more special than most. Anberlin are playing a sold out show at The Loft in Lansing tomorrow night (April 20), so the two decided that being at Sunday's game at Fifth Third Ballpark made a lot of sense.

We received confirmation from the Whitecaps that the band will lead the crowd during the traditional 7th inning stretch. Anberlin frontman Stephen Christian will sing the classic "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." They are currently on the road promoting their sixth studio album, Vital, which was released last October.

The Whitecaps will take on the South Bend Silver Hawks in a three-game series that starts tonight. The team is currently 5-6 in the Midwest League. Tickets can be purchased at the Fifth Third Ballpark box office and WhitecapsBaseball.com.
