There are plans in the works for a dry marina in Muskegon.  Terrace Point Dry Marina could be coming to Lake Muskegon.

Parkland Properties Grand Rapids has plans to develop the marina on a 23 acre plot of land. The area is near Shoreline Inn Hotel which Parkland currently owns and operates.

Jonathan Rooks , owner of Parkland Properties told WOOD TV,

"Rack storage is a very popular way to provide access to Lake Michigan and lakes and rivers connected to Lake Michigan."

The marina which is currently in the design phase would house up to 300 boats. The boats would be stored in a heated garage-like area. Storage will be offered year round. The development would cost around $4 million to complete. Rooks says that a town home project could be in the mix raising the total cost to $10 million. The dry marina is still a year away from completion but plans are to have it ready in 2021.
